Guy and Andrew prepare to leave for Australia - Indian Ocean Race Leaving Do

A great evening for all at the official leaving do for the Indian Ocean Race boys, Guy Watts and Andrew Delaney. It’s just a few weeks now until they leave for Australia to prepare for their World Record breaking challenge to row the 3780 nautical miles across the Indian Ocean, from Perth to Mauritius, in approximately 90 days.

We met the guys at Horsham Women in Business a few months back and became sponsors by desiging some great leaflets and cards for Andrew and Guy to help promote themselves.

Venue was the Grange City hotel in London overlooking Tower Bridge. A champagne reception and finger buffet to start the evening, then the boys took to the floor with various sponsors to show us a great promotional DVS and slideshows of some of the photos that track their story so far. Loads of great promotional material was on show (including the fabulous LWS Creative leaflets of course!). Really enjoyed seeing the photo of us all at the Southampton Boat Show earlier this year - good memories - and also of the boat with our LWS Creative and Local Web Solutions splashed all over it! Bit of time for some dancing later in the evening and finished the night propping up the bar in the hotel!

Quite an awing evening overall - realising about what these guys are about to do for their World Record and for male cancer charity Orchid. Amazing - be safe and successful!

And please - no more talk about the sharks!
